Nigeria: Offshore West Africa returning to Nigeria for 2012 Conference and Exhibition
Offshore West Africa have announced the dates for the 2012 Conference and Exhibition, which will see the event return to Abuja, Nigeria between 24 – 26 January 2012.
After a successful 2011 event in Accra, Ghana, attracting over 1,100 attendees from 37 countries around the world, including many major operators, with over 20% of attendees coming from outside of the West African region, the premier technical forum for the West African offshore oil and gas exploration and production industry will return to Nigeria in 2012 for the 16th annual edition.
Supported by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Offshore West Africa addresses key technology and development issues for the West African offshore oil and gas market, through a comprehensive educational program and three-day exhibition, under the conference theme – Deepwater Technologies for West Africa.
The event brings together national and international operators and plays an important role in the expanding market of West Africa, with Nigeria, a country at the centre of the offshore oil and gas markets in West Africa and some of the largest offshore projects in the region, playing host for the event.
“The West African offshore marketplace has grown in the last several years, and will continue to evolve in terms of offshore exploration and production. We believe there is a real need for the type of highly specialized, market-leading information the event will provide” said Lee Catania, Marketing Manager for Offshore West Africa.
Offshore West Africa 2012 will feature a technical and strategic conference program developed by an Advisory Board comprised of leading industry experts, as well as an exhibition showcasing products, technologies and services from global and regional oil & gas companies, held concurrently, bringing together exhibitors and attendees from around the world for three days of education, networking and new business development.
