Management and Staff of Girls' High School Ehime now Mercy Girl's High School Umezeala-Owerri in Ehime Mbano Local Government Area, Imo State, Southeast Nigeria have decried the deplorable state of infrastructure in the institution. They are therefore in dire need of support from its Old Girls' Association, sons and daughters of Ehime with the country and in the diaspora.
This is contained in a communiqué issued at the inaugural meeting of the old girls' association of the institution at the college on the recently. The Principal of the school, the Reverend Father Chidubem Paul Nwangwu who described the state of infrastructure in the school as being in a pitiable situation, noted that this has resulted to decline in the number of students in the institution.

The two day festival from Friday, December 29 – Saturday, December 30 showcasing storytelling competition between Freetown secondary schools students, drumming, comedy and a talent exhibition is expected to draw thousands of Sierra Leoneans, tourists and storytelling enthusiasts to the Miatta Conference Hall in Freetown.
“I’m very honored and excited to perform in the National Storytelling Festival,” Azania said in a statement via social media.

Some twenty-five schools in Margibi County have benefited from modern toilet facilities constructed by Living Water International.
The facilities were turned over to the schools Monday at a program marking the official celebration of World Toilet Day in that part of Liberia which was observed under the Theme “Waste Water”.
Speaking in Weala, Margibi County during the indoor program which followed the official dedication of the facilities, the Country Director of Living Water International, Austin Nyaplue indicated that his organization with support from international partners saw the need to provide Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) facilities at those institutions.
