By Nangayi Guyson – Harare -Serious and urgent investigation has been called on by Human rights activists on the  high death rate of babies in communities resettled by Zimbabwe’s government after a widely condemned slum clearance drive. On Thursday, Amnesty International said that 21 babies have recently died in a community in southern Harare because of a lack of basic care facilities but those living in the new, inadequate government housing and adjacent shacks were better off in their former shanty dwellings, the group said on Thursday. DRC: HIV / AIDS spreading rapidly in rural areas to the east

This stabilization remains fragile due to the reduced funding for some partners in the fight against HIV. In Eastern countries, the virus is spreading rapidly in rural areas considered high risk area with 3.3% prevalence. Uganda starts circumcision programme to reduce on HIV/Aids
