In conclusion of activities marking the observance of Global Handwashing Day, the Liberia CSOs WASH Network has engaged the WASH Legislative Caucus. The engagement discussed issues of the WASH sector relating to sustainable hand hygiene behaviour and practice, and national WASH budget increment, among others. In an effort to raise awareness on the findings from the formative research conducted by the Liberia WASH Consortium through Concern Worldwide, Action Against Hunger and WaterAid Liberia in five counties in Liberia, the WASH Media Network of Liberia collected case studies in Grand Bassa County.
The Chairman of the Liberia WASH consortium who doubles as the country representative (CR) of Action Against Hunger, Mohammed Takoy, has disclosed that the Liberia WASH consortium is in the process of planning an intervention in in some counties aimed at tackling malnutrition related problems.
