Various high schools in Harare South Constituency are benefitting from the philanthropic works of a local trust .
Speaking to this publication New Cerney Park Group of Colleges teacher Melody Saungweme said they have benefited immensely from the benevolence of Tonganyika Trust which is a brainchild of Tongai Mnangagwa, who is a nephew to President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
A local charity organisation called Tonganyika Trust which is a brainchild of Tongai Mnangagwa who is son to President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s brother has come to the rescue of Harare South residents who were struggling to access health services by constructing a clinic .
Speaking on the side-lines of the official opening of a clinic in Harare South recently, Tongai Mnangagwa said the Trust has plans to build 9 more clinics in the same area.
“This marks the very beginning of our kind gesture to this community as we plan to have 10 clinics in this area and we are also mulling the idea of a hospital in future, ”said Tongai.
