High Level Panel tackles illicit financial outflows from Africa

….Delivery ceremony of the first maps at a scale of 1:200 000 – Started in February 2011, the project consists of updating the country’s map coverage at a scale of 1: 200 000 in order to complete a national database and topographic maps covering the entire country. TAZARA approves $211 million strategic plan

By Nawa Mutumweno – The Tanzania-Zambia Railway Authority (TAZARA) board has approved a five-year strategic plan (2013 – 18), with a budget outlay of $211 million to meet the company’s recapitalisation and working capital. And the firm projects to grow its annual revenue to $122 million in 2018 from $48 million in 2013 with the increase in traffic volumes.
