Nigeria: Bomb scare in parts of Northern Nigeria

By Correspondent Chinyere Ogbonna–  As Nigerians go to polls today for the parliamentary election, there has bomb scare in parts of the northern part of the country. Yesterday the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC in Suleja, a suburb of the Federal Capital Territory was bombed by unidentified bombers. According to reports, many regular and ad-hoc staff of INEC including members of the National Youth Service Corps who make up the majority of the ad-hoc staff lost their lives in the bomb explosion. Liberia Elections Commission launches awareness campaign
