By Ozodi Thomas Osuji – I did not watch the presidential debate. However, from what I gather, the man who was supposed to be there defending his administration’s policies was not there? I have heard a couple of reasons why he was not in attendance, such as his having traffic problems, having prior commitments, giving  interview to other reporters in lieu of the debate etc.? By Misheck Rusere – Harare magistrate  Mishrod Guvamombe has remanded the Energy and Power development Minister belonging to the MDC party being led by Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai in custody to the 28th of March when his trial is set to commence. Mangoma who was picked yesterday morning by police in plain clothes for questioning concerning a fuel deal was on Friday formally charged with the Criminal abuse of office offence. By Own Correspondent – Reports reaching this paper from Basse in the Upper River Region (URR) have it that one Bunka Fatty, said to be an uncle to the leader of the opposition Gambia Moral Congress (GMC), Mai Fatty, was Monday afternoon arrested by the police in Basse.
