LIBERIA: LDS Donates Tools, Seeds To Ivorian Refugees & Hosts In Nimba

Myers – The Lutheran Development Service in Liberia (LDS) with support from its partners, has completed the distribution of agricultural materials and vegetable seeds to hundreds of Ivorian refugees and host communities in Gbele-Geh District, Nimba County. The tools and seeds valued over 18 thousand United States dollars were distributed to 48 Groups in 16 communities in Gbele-Geh District. West Africa: TWMA lands £1m solids control deal offshore

Environmental waste management contractor TWMA has won its first offshore service contract in West Africa, signifying its intention to expand its business in this important region. The contract was awarded by AGR Petroleum Services and is worth around £1million over six months.  It covers supply, installation and operation of an integrated drilling waste management solution. TWMA will provide a range of solids control technologies to AGR for its drilling campaign in the Hyperdynamics’ concession offshore the Republic of Guinea. Nigeria and ECOWAS to respond to famine in Somalia

He pledged that Nigeria and the Economic Community of West African States [ECOWAS], would make appropriate responses at the forthcoming pledging conference to be held in Addis Ababa,the  Ethiopian capital on the 25th of this month. ECOWAS Chairman condemns the attempted coups in Guinea and Niger
