….Says NSEC Executive Director Robert Dolo – The Executive Director of the New Sight Eye Center (NSEC) in the Duport Road Community, Paynesville, Robert Dolo, has disclosed that the main aim for the Center’s Medical and Surgical Outreach Program is to make eye treatment accessible and affordable for rural dwellers across the country. President Dr Ernest Bai Koroma on Monday 17th February received a certificate of appointment to serve as the Grand Chief Patron of the West African Institute of Insurance (WAII). The presentation, which was made by the Director-General of the institute, Fredrick Bowen-John, is in recognition of the services rendered to the institute by the President. ….Delivery ceremony of the first maps at a scale of 1:200 000 – Started in February 2011, the project consists of updating the country’s map coverage at a scale of 1: 200 000 in order to complete a national database and topographic maps covering the entire country.
