People laughed in response to a recent comment by former Obama adviser, Benjamin Rhodes, who on one of his recent public appearances since they left White House alluded that President Obama was fine, relaxing and having full life after retirement.

The second edition of the African Women in the Media, AIM 2018 has come and gone. It was a gathering of women in the media space from across the African continent fully represented at the event.
In an opening remark, the founder and convener of the African Women in the Media Conference, Dr. Yemisi Akinbobola said the vision for the group was to inspire and support African Women in the Media space whether it is in advertising, research,
journalism among other areas.
Dr. Akinbobola observed that there was a need for a better representation of African Women. She decried that women are still having issues in leadership positions in the media.

This time again, Tanzania’s President Dr John Pombe Magufuli showcases his magic model which smoothen a highway to Africa’s world-class economic development.
Inhabitants of Buah and Forkpoh Districts in Grand Kru County have petitioned the local county authority and the Legislative Caucus to ensure that safe water, improved sanitation, and hygiene services are provided the two Districts. The citizens in their petition said they are tired of drinking from the creek and using the bushes for toilet purposes.
They noted that this poses threat to their survival, stressing the need for safe water and improved sanitation to be looked at critically in the County Development budget.
The much publicized 4th WASH Joint Sector Review has taken place in the port city of Buchanan, Grand Bassa County, amidst disappointment and boycott of the 2-day event.
