Ghana: The Showdown set for July 1st
By Peterking Quaye – Empire Entertainment One of Ghana’s leading events management company today launched an annual event to celebrate two of Africa’s vibrant entertainment industry countries.
‘Ghana Meets Naija ’is expected to come off 1st July 2011 at the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre ,the show will being together more than 15 seasoned and top artiste make waves in both Ghana and Nigeria to perform in Ghana for the first time.
Artiste on confirmed on the bill to perform from Nigeria are : 2 Face, J Martin,Wande Coal, 9 ice and from Ghana are, Castro, Sarkodie, Ruff n Smooth,VIP, Dr Cryme, Stay J, Guru, 4X4 among other as the weeks unfolds and ahead of the mega showdown in Ghana. This will probably be the first time Ghana will experience a heavy descent of Nigerian artiste in Ghana on night.
Bola Ray’s Empire Entertainment is the brain behind the entire production of this event, in a press conference in Accra ,he thanked the artiste for signing onto the events, and promise “ this will be on of the best event for the year and hope Ghana is ready “ It will be big he added.
According the organizers this event is set to be a mega-jam and raves heads can expect nothing less than fireworks and night full of glitz and glamour that can only be associated with any event in other part of the world especially South Africa or Nigeria.
The fact still stands that only Togo stands between Ghana and Nigeria but these two countries share a lot of things in common, and have meet on several sphere of activities from sport to education challenge there have always been a winner –but who rules the entertainment industry south of the Sahara? Most definitely your answer is good as mine.
