UK: Reggae star Decibel marks Africa Day (May 25) inna Dancehall Style

Versatile sing-jay Decibel drops the A-Klass-produced banger Dancehall Style, on Africa Day making a welcome return to the pop scene after collaborating with Award winning duo BKay and Kazz.

With the launch of the new track, Northampton-based Decibel marks a key calendar day for Africans all over the world.

Decibel says of his new track: “When we went into the studio to record Dancehall Style, me and the boys (BKay and Kazz) had been reminiscing so much about home.

We miss Masvingo and we miss Zimbabwe hence the symbolic launch of the track on Africa Day.” “With this tune we want the world to feel how we party the African way and it does reflect in the tune,” Decibel adds.

On Dancehall Style, he collaborates with Pop sensations BKay and Kazz whose duet with rapper Carlprit on See You at the Top recently saw them scoring huge chart in Germany and the UK (featuring on channels such as Box TV, KISS and AKA.)

A university-trained biochemist, Decibel has spent the past couple of years off the “game” with his family, honing his craft and perfecting his showmanship. The new single, Dancehall Style, thus sees him making a welcome return since he made a cameo appearance on last year’s Afro-pop anthem, JJC’s We Are Africans.
