SANKAYI NIGHT CLUB:
Probably one of the oldest and surviving multicutural club Joburg has ever seen. Started off in Rosebank Mall, about more than 10 years ago, then moved to the present address: 90 Degrees, Cnr Rivonia and Kelvin Road, Morningside.
Music & Entertainment:
Always positioned itself as the epitome of true African Entertainment. Attracts the executives, wealthy, classy and mature market. Tired of the latest, recent and digital music, SANKAYI curved a niche by providing Rhumba, Sungura, Kizomba, Kwasa-kwasa music with a rich blend of all old classic hits of RnB, Hip-Hop, Afro – Jazz and Sofia Town dances.
Crowd:
Very international. Very sophisticated and MEN are mostly in suits. Easy to bumb into Ministers, Politicians, Scholars, Bankers and a wide range of persona defying colour, race and creed. New Owner is the Nedbank Executive. Thats sums it all.
