Key operators and contractors lined up for Offshore West

9th January 2014; In less than two weeks the 18th annual Offshore West Africa Conference and Exhibition will return to Accra, Ghana.

The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) have officially confirmed their support for the upcoming Offshore West Africa 2014 Conference & Exhibition by agreeing to host the event taking place at the on 21-23 January.

GNPC will be joined by over 40 leading industry speakers who will share insights into the opportunities and challenges to develop West Africa’s expanding offshore potential.  Conference highlights include a Welcome Address on day one fromHon. Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, Minister of Energy & Petroleum, Ghana.

On Tuesday 21 January the conference will also feature a Keynote Address from Mr. Alexander Mould, Acting Chief Executive, GNPC.

Day three highlights include the local content panel discussion moderated by Andrew Badoo, GNPC Oil and Gas Learning Foundation.  The panelists will share best practices, challenges, and strategies for growing local content in Ghana and the greater West African region.
