So Zimbabwe turns 40 tomorrow and what a journey that has been. We as ZimThrive, have decided regardless of the global lockdowns, self isolatons, self distancing and the menace of COVID-19 to still celebrate this milestone. We know Zimbos love a good shindig, so put your glad rags on in your living rooms and get ready to party with us. For 24 hours starting at Zimbabwe’s midnight we have put together a variety of activities from music performances, comedy sets, poetry, DJ sets, motivational drops, virtual braais and a hell of a lot more goodies. Every single regional diaspora hotspot is involved so expect activities from the US and Canada, Australia and New Zealand, Zimbabwe and the rest of Africa, China and the rest of Asia, UK, Ireland and the rest of Europe and finally from the Middle East. Each region has a quality schedule for you all, please check your timezones as we will have everything for everyone for a solid 24 hours. We will anchor this via Instagram but will look to bring in as many platforms as possible and as many people as possible.
