By Shout-Africa.com Correspondent, Dar es Salaam – The ongoing surprise cure services conducted by a former Bishop of the Anglican Church, Ambilikile Mwaisapile, has now attracted the watchful eye of Tanzanian politicians some of them taking a political advantage.
It has now been reported that more ministers and members of the Parliament, despite rushing themselves to the area to get cured, most of them are now spending more money to arrange transport for their voters.
The cure which is said to be effective in treating HIV/AIDS, diabetes, blood pressure and other chronical diseases, has already attracted several former Prime Ministers, current cabinet ministers, lawmakers and businessmen from all over the country with news of foreigners coming up.
“I have set some Sh. 12 million (approximately USD 10,000) to assist transport for my 200 voters to go to Loliondo,” admitted Arusha opposition MP (Chadema), Godbless Lema as other MPs, rulling party’s Edward Lowassa (Monduli-CCM), Christopher Ole Sendeka (Simanjiro-CCM) and Philemon Ndesamburo (Moshi Urban-Chadema) have been transporting their voters to Loliondo for some days now.
Yesterday, former Prime Minister in the 3rd phase government of President Benjamin Mkapa, Frederick Sumaye and his family reached to the cure centre and managed to drank the medicine. “I feel happy the way I saw the medicine I hope it will help us,” said Sumaye who was accompanied by his wife and his mother.
Meanwhile reports from the cure village in Loliondo, some 400 kilometers from Arusha city, indicate that the government has now moved step further in securing the safety of the pastor by sending special intelligence officers to protect him in case of any planned sabotage. The special officers will join uniformed officers who are already there.
