Mozambique: APR Energy awarded new contract in Mozambique
Contract Signifies APR Energy’s Expansion into Commercial Mining Sector
JACKSONVILLE, FL, May 10, 2011 APR Energy LLC, a leading provider of major turnkey temporary power generation services, today announced that it has been awarded a 10 MW contract by Vale, the second largest commercial mining company in the world. This power solution will provide power to Vale’s Moatize Coal Project in Moatize, Mozambique.
Under the terms of the contract, APR Energy will be responsible for all turnkey mobilization, installation and commissioning of the site, working in conjunction with Vale. The Moatize Coal site will utilize APR Energy’s diesel-powered modular generation units, which will have the flexibility to run independently or synchronized with Mozambique’s national utility grid.

In addition to this new Vale project, APR Energy’s industrial experience includes a past project in Borneo, Indonesia, where it installed and maintained a gas turbine facility for one of the largest ammonia processing plants in the world.
