Zimbabwe: Independent Zengeza West MP brings relief to disabled people
By Own Correspondent – Zengeza West MP Simon Chidakwa who will be vying for the same constituency on an independent ticket has bailed out disabled people in the constituency with an assortment of groceries. Speaking at the hand-over of the donation, Chidakwa said the sponsorship is out of good will and should not be misconstrued as a vote-buying gimmick.
“The donation is out of sympathy after realising what these families were going through to fend for the disabled and whoever thinks it’s a ploy to find votes is lost, ”said Chidakwa. A local organisation Princess Tilli Foundation(PTF) approached the incumbent MP seeking assistance to help out the disabled.
