Essays On Food Security In Africa Sought For Publication
Journalists from around the world are invited to share their thoughts on how to approach the larger issue of food security in rural Africa, in the form of an 800- to 1,200-word essay. Deadline: July 31.
Applicants must have a profile with Africa Rural Connect, a program of the National Peace Corps Association, which sponsors the contest.
Essays will be judged by a distinguished panel of media professionals and academics with backgrounds in policy and food security, and the winning essay will be published in the Fall 2010 issue of World Policy Journal.
