India seeks to regain lost pride in twenty20 serires against Zimbabwe

India seek to redeem lost pride after losing out to Zimbabwe in the ODIs. India face a wounded Zimbabwe who lost in the final against Sri Lanka hence Zimbabwe who want to salvage the cup for the nation who are greatly supporting them. Zimbabwe will probably maintain the same squad that has featured in the ODIs and will also welcome back Andy Bilgnaut coming back from a lay off. These encounters are set to be enthralling and full of action. Indians are know to be excellent in this form of the game since back home they play in the lucrative IPL league hence most of the players are excellent. Zimbabwe will be riding high since they have taken down the mighty Australians twice and also Pakistan, big countries that are exquisite in this form of the game.
Interestingly to note this is going to be the first International Twenty20 series played at the Harare sports and also between these two countries.
Head to head : India and Zimbabwe have played 51 one day internationals between them and even 11 tests, but as mentioned in the title – this will be first every twenty20 matches between these two countries.
