By Gambia Correspondent – Teranga FM a community radio station located in Sinchu Alagie village in the Kombo North District of the West Coast Region was temporarily closed down in mid-January this year due to “some administrative procedures,” if the words of Mr. Alagie Cham, Minister of Information and Communication Infrastructure, are anything to go by. By Gambia Correspondent – During its first meeting in the 2011 legislative year, members of the National Assembly Monday amended the Drug Control Act 2003, and increased the fines applicable to drug-related offences from One Million Dalasis to Ten Million Dalasis.
