Alleged Farafenni Camp attacker’s fate in limbo, as case suffers another setback

By Own Correspondent – The trial on treason and murder charges against Abdoulie Sonko, who was alleged to have conspired with Ballo Kanteh and others in 1996, to attack the Farafenni Army Barracks in the North Bank Region yesterday failed to proceed at the high court in Banjul. The accused person was charged by state prosecutors since 2003, and subsequently arraigned at the Banjul Magistrates’ Court. Gambia: GAMCOMTRAP officials granted bail

By Own Correspondent – Top officials of the Gambia Committee on Traditional Practices Affecting the Health of Women and Children (GAMCOTRAP), Dr Isatou Touray Executive Director and Amie Bojang Sissoho program co-ordinator, were yesterday granted bail in the sum of D1.5 million each to be provided by sureties with landed property within the Greater Banjul Area. 1161 Gambian Pilgrims Set for 2010 Hajj
