Liberty Party's Standard Bearer, Charles Brumskine has assured Liberians if elected as President of the Republic of Liberia, citizens will be provided pipe borne water across the country.

As part of efforts to ensure that Liberians, especially rural dwellers have access to safe drinking water, improved sanitation and hygiene, a local NGO constructing WASH facilities, has begun WASH training for rural communities.
Eleven Communities in Grand Cape Mount county are benefiting from the Initiative through hand pump mechanic and WASH software training.
The project is undertaken by the Community Development Services (CODES), with support from WaterAid/Irish Aid WASH project in Cape Mount.

WaterAid Liberia, through its Transboundary Programme for Liberia & Sierra Leone, commissioned an Environmental, Social and Health Impact Scoping Study to understand the potential impacts of ongoing activities on sustainable access to WASH in key cross-border communities in Liberia.
The Environmental, Social and Health Impact Scoping Report focuses on Sustainability Appraisal for Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Services in 45 communities in selected Districts of Grand Cape Mount and Gbarpolu Counties, Western Liberia.

Over a protracted period of time, the issue relating to budget and funding has been a major challenge for the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) sector of Liberia.
Several Civil Society WASH Advocacy Groups have over the years called on government to ensure increased budget allocation for WASH, something that is yet to fully happen and Advocacy is still ongoing.
