Liberia: Living Water Int’l dedicates Several WASH facilities in Montserrado

Living Water International remains proactive in efforts to ensure access to improved Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) facilities for Liberians and foreign residents. Living Water Int’l-Liberia is working assiduously, bringing relief to hundreds of communities and institutions in-need of better or adequate WASH services. The Christian Charity has made a generous contribution to District #4 in Paynesville, Montserrado County by constructing several modern WASH facilities.

LIBERIA: WaterAid builds modern toilet for Old folks, Disable in Bassa

A modern toilet has been built and subsequently turned over to occupants of the Old Folks Home, persons with disabilities and residents of the Upper Buchanan Community in Grand Bassa County. The toilet has a hand pump and hand washing facility. The Disable Friendly Latrine Project was implemented by the United Youth for Peace Education, Transparency and Development in Liberia (UYPETDL) with funding from WaterAid in Liberia and Sierra Leone.

The British charity, WaterAid has been commanded for championing the issue of sustainable sanitation as part of efforts to transform the lives of the poorest and most marginalized people in society. WaterAid Liberia and Sierra Leone continues to prioritize access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene especially in hard-to-reach areas and for marginalized groups. People living with disabilities or visually impaired are among marginalized groups benefiting from improved WASH access as championed by WaterAid and partners.
