West Point is an over populated municipality of the Liberian capital, Monrovia with a population of almost close to hundred thousand inhabitants. The Project is funded by the European Union (EU) Water Facility. According to the Executive Director of a local NGO, Community Development Services, most of the facilities were damaged due to poor maintenance on the part of the residents.
