Myers – As Liberia joins countries the world over to celebrate this year’s World Toilet Day on Monday, November 19, 82% of Liberian women are said to be without a safe toilet thereby increasing their risk of illness, shame, harassment and violence. Liberia’s Female National Team Arrives in Ivory Coast for Female WAFU Tournament
By Peterking Quaye, in Ivory Coast – Liberia’s Lone Star female national team arrived in the Ivorian Capital of Abidjan to participate in the maiden edition of the Female WAFU Tournament 2012. The championship, which has seen several deferrals in the past but it is geared towards the development of women’s football in the zone.
