Nigeria’s Department of Security declares notorious Boko Haram sect leader wanted

By Correspondent Chinyere Ogbonna – The Department of State Services (DSS) in Nigeria has declared a notorious Boko Haram member, Mamman Nur, wanted, following intelligence gathered from the arrest and interrogation from Babagana Ismail Kwaljim (a.k.a. Abu Summaya) and Babagana Mali (a.k.a. Bulama). The two are members of the radical extremist sect, Boko Haram, which claimed responsibility for the August 26 attack on the United Nations House in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital federal capital territory. Nigeria pledges support to Zimbabwe for transparent and credible polls

President Goodluck Jonathan made the pledge when he received Prime Minister of Zimbabwe, Mr. Morgan Tsvangirai in Abuja, the Nigeria’s capital. Nigeria: UN confirms nine staff dead in bomb explosion

By Emeka Umejei – Lagos: The United Nations office in Nigeria has confirmed nine  staff  of the agency dead in the Friday suicide bomb attack on its headquarters in  Nigeria’s capital city, Abuja.
