A coalition of youth groups in Northern Nigeria have urged President Muhammadu Buhari not to seek re-election in 2019. The leaders of the group known as Northern Youth Coalition, made the point while addressing journalists at the Press Centre in Kano.Speaking on behalf of the coalition, leaders of the group, Abdulmajid Saad and his secretary, Salisu Indabawa, the coalition who scored President Buhari's perfomance low, explained that seeking re-election “could be a disgraceful move.” The coalition comprises 36 youth groups.in the northern part of Nigeria.

Management and Staff of Girls' High School Ehime now Mercy Girl's High School Umezeala-Owerri in Ehime Mbano Local Government Area, Imo State, Southeast Nigeria have decried the deplorable state of infrastructure in the institution. They are therefore in dire need of support from its Old Girls' Association, sons and daughters of Ehime with the country and in the diaspora.
This is contained in a communiqué issued at the inaugural meeting of the old girls' association of the institution at the college on the recently. The Principal of the school, the Reverend Father Chidubem Paul Nwangwu who described the state of infrastructure in the school as being in a pitiable situation, noted that this has resulted to decline in the number of students in the institution.
