The Gerald Fox Memorial Run Is Set

By Novell Zwange – JOHANNESBURG – The Gerald Fox Memorial is set for 7.00am on 12 September at the Johannesburg Zoo and is set to be the best of fun races so far. The 5K fun run has been altered so as not to cross the main race. Renaissance’s R88 Million Lawsuit

GAUTENG – The joint liquidators of Renaissance Health Medical Scheme (Renaissance) have instituted action in the Gauteng North High Court against the former Board of Trustees, Principal Officer, administrator and curator of the scheme for the recovery of R88 million (case number 376087/10). Part of this sum comprises a claim for R8 million against the court-appointed curator who ran the scheme prior to it being declared insolvent. Growing Public Outrage Over Aurora Killings

By Novell Zwange – JOHANNESBURG – South African Bishop Jo Seoka, the current chairperson of the Bench Marks Foundation,has joined a growing list public figures who have expressed outrage over the recent killings of 20 miners at the Aurora Grootvlei mines in Springs and has joined the call for an investigation by the relevant authorities. The mine is owned by Khulubuse Zuma and Zondwa Mandela, amongst others.
