South African business schools shine in Financial Times rankings

Four of South Africa’s top Business schools have been listed in the prestigious 2014 Financial Times global ranking for Executive Education Customised Programmes, released this week. The University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business (UCT GSB), the Gordon Institute of Business Science, Stellenbosch Business School and Wits Business School have each secured a spot in this annual ranking, which tracks the top business schools in this category and presents a global benchmark for providers of executive education. Anglo-American announced as speaking at PV Project Development Africa 2014

Major international mining firm Anglo-American PLC have been announced as an event speaker at PV Project Development Africa 2014 (9-10th September, Johannesburg). Anglo-American will be speaking at the event about the opportunities for solar PV to have a growing impact in supplying green, secure and cost effective electricity to heavy industry in Africa. They will also be joined at the event by national utility Eskom and key financiers Nedbank Capital and Investec. Considerable majority vote secures adoption of SA Medical Association (SAMA) MOI and company rules

An 89% majority vote at an extra-ordinary general meeting (EGM) in Pretoria on Saturday, April 12, resulted in the adoption of the revised Memorandum of Incorporation and company rules of the SA Medical Association (SAMA).
