LIBERIA: National Praise & Healing Crusade “2011” For Transformation
By: Augustine N. Myers – As part of efforts to evoke God’s bountiful blessings upon Liberia, a National Praise and Healing Crusade “2011”, is expected to take Monrovia by storm. The Crusade is to be facilitated by a renowned American Evangelist, Apostle Rodney J. Washington.
As part of early preparations to ensure the successful planning and hosting of the Crusade, the Crusade “2011” Head Quarters has been dedicated in the Kesselly Boulevard Community in Gardnersville, Montserrado County.
Speaking Saturday at the official dedication ceremony, the National Steering Committee Chairman, said he has been praying for God to help deliver Liberia, especially during this political season.
Bishop John G. Greene of the Mount Olive Pentecostal Church in the Kesselly Boulevard Community said, Liberia needs prayers that must be offered by in a united effort for the transformation of the State.
With this Bishop Greene said, they were blessed to get in contact with Apostle Washington of the Titus Harvest Dome Spectrum Ministries in the United States to plan a National Crusade, which was planned since 1992, but could go ahead
due to the Octopus-Monrovia fighting, and the Liberian civil crisis.
But according to him, as they have been praying, God has heard their prayers and reconnected them with Apostle Washington to now host the Crusade in December of this year, 2011.
According to Bishop Greene, Apostle Washington will be visiting Liberia with a six-member team to host a National Praise and Healing Crusade “2011”, for the deliverance and healing of the Nation.
He described Apostle Washington as a powerful man of God who works in a five-fold Ministry by praying and healing, among other things.
Bishop Green said the Crusade will be held under the theme: “Declaring the nation into a New Level” and pointed out that by the grace of God, those expected to attend the pending Crusade, will receive their healing and deliverance and that
Liberia will be taken to a new level.
According to him, a new level for Liberia will ensure the changing of minds and attitudes, and that the Church should continue to be seen as a save haven in transforming the lives of the people and that of the State.
Bishop Greene also said the 3-day visit of Apostle Washington will be characterized by Pastoral Teachings and Counseling in different disciplines of leadership, and that thousands of Liberians and other foreign residents from across the Country will surely experience the Miraculous Power of the Almighty God through Jesus Christ.
He described the pending Crusade “2011” as an Interdenominational Event with the involvement of about 100 Christian Churches, and it is expected that following the Crusade, there will be transformation and healing in the Land.
Quoting 2nd Chronicle 7:14 which says “If My People Who Are Called By My Name Will Humble Themselves, Pray and Seek My Face, I God will heal their land”, Bishop Greene said the pending Crusade “2011” is expected to restore peace and unity in Liberia and prosper the Nation.
The Leadership of the Crusade “2011” National Steering Committee include Bishop John G. Greene-National Chairman, Pastor Willie S.W. Chea-Executive Secretary, and Pastor Isaac C. Marweahn-Mobilization and Publicity Chairman, among others.
Apostle Rodney J. Washington is the Head of the Titus Harvest Dome Spectrum Church, “ a Multi-cultural Soul Winning Church with a message of Faith, Hope and Deliverance”.
