The Wait is finally Over……….
The Official ZimAchievers Award Ceremony is only days away. Taking place this Saturday 9th April 2011 at the prestigious Mermaid Theatre from 7.00pm themed celebrating everything Zimbabwean.
The prestigious event will be hosted by the talented Television, Film and Theatre actor ‘’Denver Isaac’’ www.denverisaac.com and beautiful Miss Zimbabwe 2008 ‘’Cynthia Muvirimi’’.
Also gracing us with their presence on the evening are our very own Zimbabwean talent – the current British heavyweight champion Dereck Chisora and the vocalist and bassist for the UK indie rock band ‘’Noisettes’’ – Shingai Shoniwa. –www.noisettes.co.uk, Dr Who actress Chipo Chung, altantic records Taponeswa Mavungu and flying in al the way from Zimbabwe current Miss Zimbabwe Malaika Mushandu amongst other very high profile Zimbabweans
Additionally the stage is set to come alive with the list of confirmed artists which include Kamikaze Test Pilots, Tinashe, Eska Mtungwazi, Emkay, Bkay ‘n Kazz Obert Mazivisa and the Trumpet Echoes amongst others. The ZimAchievers Awards are a distinctly special awards ceremony seeking to recognise Zimbabweans throughout the UK. Established in an effort to bring together Zimbabweans to celebrate, recognise and raise the profile of the achievements of those individuals nominated for their excellence in a large variety of sectors and categories including Sports, Business, Music, Tourism and Charity who have pushed the limits against all odds to raise the Zimbabwean flag high and do both themselves and their countrymen proud.
This promises to be an absolutely electrifying evening filled with people from all walks of life. You would have to crazy to miss out on this brilliant opportunity to mingle, socialise and network with the ultimate who’s who of Zimbabwe!
