The donation – which has been gifted from the recent CWC Ghana Summit in Accra, Ghana – means that every child at the orphanage has had their school fees paid for all of the next school year, alongside 600 exercise and note books, 35 Maths and English books for the kinder garden and colouring books for the nursery.

250kg of rice, 50L of cooking oil, milk, tomato puree, sugar and soap was also purchased providing required consumables for at least the next two months.  Shoes, football boots and clothes were also delivered to the school children.

Head of Corporate Responsibility for the West Africa region, Myriam Chbani commented, “We’re so proud to be supporting the development work in this region. These kids deserve a bright future and we’re excited to be able to guarantee their education for another year.”

Chbani continued, “We have plans to continue helping the orphaned children of this region alongside our existing work supporting the NIBUCCA charity in Nigeria.”
